![]() Chances are you will spend way less money than you would buying through instacart and that person would actually have enough pay to make sure everything is correct and to your liking. You ought to just pay an individual you know $25 to $50 per shopping trip. I've looked into this just out of curiosity and it's wild. It's crazy how exploitative both Instacart and Instacart customers are of the shoppers. I don't think that even factors in gas or anything like that. There is no way anyone would go back to a store for that kind of money. They pay the shoppers like $6 or $7 dollars per customer. ![]() I've ordered again just to get the one thing they messed up that I needed. ![]() Instacart does make it easy to get refunded for a problem, but they don't actually send the shopper back to make it right. The part I dislike is when they get me way too little or too much of something or crappy looking meat or veggies. It's a bit more expensive than going out to the store but I'll pay to skip the crappy experience of grocery store shopping. I stock up on Instacart GCs when they're discounted and combine with coupons if available. Not a fan of the tip either but I do like they starting allowing the tip to be paid by the credit balance. Unfortunately makes social/economic inequality a little more pronounced, by distinguishing the shoppers from the shopped for, but what can you do (besides add to the tip). I should be getting paid for singing their praises but I'm not, I just really hate grocery shopping especially in the covid era. Only thing I don't like is the tipping aspect, it's not a proper business model if they are requiring their members to make up for the low wages they get paid. ![]() Further, you will have until July 31, 2024, to active the offer. from 3 months to 1 year of the service for free. Who the hell likes grocery shopping anyway? And you can write notes on each item you want to clarify exactly what you want, replace out of stock items with something else, chat with the shopper to make modifications or provide clarification, and get refunded if they screw up. Instacart+ is the delivery service’s membership program that eliminates the 3.99 delivery fee on orders over 35, gives you a 5 credit back on eligible pickup orders, and lowers the service fee from 5 to just 1.9 on all orders. I value my time and safety so yeah I use Instacart all the time. I assume this is valid for existing memberships? ![]()
